What is a maid service?
A maid service is recurring home cleaning done by the same trained person on a fixed schedule. Instead of booking a one-off clean every time the house gets away from you, a cleaner comes back weekly, every two weeks or once a month and keeps the home at a steady standard.
In Montreal, "maid service", "cleaning lady" and "house cleaning" usually mean the same thing. The difference with us is consistency: you get the same cleaner every visit, so they learn your home, your preferences and the details you care about. See our full house cleaning services for one-time, deep and move-in or move-out cleans.
Some Montrealers call it a housekeeper or a housekeeping service, others a cleaning lady. Whatever the name, you get the same thing from us: one dedicated, background-checked cleaner on a fixed schedule, anywhere on the island of Montreal, in the West Island or in Laval.

How often should a maid come?
Most of our clients choose every two weeks. Here is how the three options compare.
| Frequency | Best for | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly | Families, pets, busy homes | The home never gets behind. Best value per visit. |
| Every two weeks | Most households and couples | A consistently clean home with a lighter budget. |
| Monthly | Smaller or tidy homes | A regular reset between your own cleaning. |

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. Many clients leave a key or use a lockbox so the cleaner can let themselves in while they are at work.
